Brothers Loberg set up Absolute Tattoo in August 2005.

Originally spelt withtout the E "Absolut Tattoo", it was updated in 2007 with the new spelling and the new logo - "Viking Helmet and the letters AT".

Goran had been tattooing for over 20 years all over Australia and Sweden, in 2004 the brothers decided to make something new, and together with a great bunch of friends and teammates they embarked on the mission of creating a new brand name in tattooing, a brand name that is fast becoming known up and down the entire east coast of Australia for the quality of work.

Already with handfuls of awards, the focus in the shops is to build specialty areas so regular customers will seek out and travel to specific stores for specific work styles - already Murwillumbah's lead artist is becoming known for his sketch style black and grey fantasy work.
